What's it like to be an Innie?

Based on my personal experience working at Lumon Industries, I would like to share my honest opinion about the company. While Lumon Industries does promote work-life balance and community, there are some areas that could be improved upon.

One of the most significant issues that bothered me was the lack of communication from management when employees had concerns or questions. Unfortunately, many of us felt the same way. Despite the company promoting "flexible work arrangements," they still acted surprised when we couldn't meet unrealistic expectations and had to work overtime. It's important to note that employees also need breaks and time for personal life outside of work. Perhaps if there was more communication between management and employees, these issues could be resolved.

Another significant problem is that Lumon Industries does not seem to prioritize the environment or the community. Although their focus is on sustainability, I witnessed some questionable practices that negatively impacted the environment and local communities. For instance, there were instances where the company did not properly dispose of hazardous materials, which could have detrimental effects on the environment. Additionally, some of their manufacturing processes caused excessive noise pollution, which could negatively affect the well-being of nearby residents. If Lumon Industries could prioritize the environment and the community, they would be more in line with their values and make a positive impact.

Overall, I want to emphasize the importance of researching the company before considering employment with Lumon Industries. It's easy to get swept up in the excitement of joining a new company, but it's essential to consider what kind of work-life balance you want and the level of support your employer provides. With proper research, you can make an informed decision that is best for you and your career.

In conclusion, I'm not saying that Lumon Industries is not a good company to work for. However, there are areas that could be improved upon, such as communication between management and employees, and prioritizing the environment and the community. By making these changes, Lumon Industries could become a great place to work and make a positive impact in the world.
